Flanged High Deflection Mount  E-B

A range of high deflection mounts has been added to our range targeted at applications requiring higher deflection than normally provided by solid rubber based mounts.

The range includes variants with blind and through tapped holes in the top plate in addition to plain through holes requiring a nut for assembly.

Installation

The mount is fixed to a surface via the 2 through holes.  The isolated equipment is attached to the top of the mount via the central hole which is either tapped or a though hole where a nut & bolt can be used.

Where additional deflection is required, these mounts can be used in series.  When used in pairs as shown here, the deflection can be effectively doubled for the same loading.    It is best practice to ensure that the top surface is fully covered with an overlap of 20% of the top plate diameter.

Typical Applications

Powder handling machinery, vibratory feeders, ventilators, fans, air handling units, compressors, refrigerators, vibratory screens, food processing equipment, pumps, motors

Materials

These high deflection mounts are produce in a standard range of natural rubber materials and with RohS compliant zinc plated steel metal parts.

E-B-75

This mount is designed for optimum loads of 40 or 65Kg.  Rubber hardnesses of 40Sh and 50Sh are used to provide this difference.   This mount has a through tapped hole. The metal parts are RoHS compliant zinc plated. Dimensions are as shown below:

E-B-95

This mount is designed for optimum loads of 70 or 130Kg and is a larger version of the E-B-75but with a blind tapped hole in the top plate.  Metal parts are RoHS compliant zinc plated.
