The New R-4 series of Neoprene mounts has a fully encapsulated metal base and top plate (tapped M12) for exposed applications.
The initial range is for up to 700 or 1000Kg loading but 1400 and 1800Kg mounts will be on-stream shortly.
Nominal (optimal) loading is based on 6mm deflection.
Further models are being introduced to cover a wider range of loadings.
Installation
The isolated equipment must be secured to the mount via the M12 female thread. Max thread entry into mounting must be limited to 12mm from mount top face. It is not always necessary to fix the mount to the floor. However, if required 2 x M12 or M14 bolts can be used with appropriate washers.
Typical Applications
Generators, pumps, motors. External applications are also suited due to the fully encapsulated metal parts which prevent corrosion.
Materials
The internal metal plates are mild steel (S275JR) whilst the standard rubber materials are CR (polychloroprene). However, alternative materials from our wide range of natural and synthetic rubber materials can be used where appropriate.
