Rubber Bushes

Various shaped rubber bushes are available as standard items whilst special requirements can be made to order.  Tooling costs may be applicable for such special items.    Where tooling is available any of our standard rubber compounds may be selected.

Installation

May be a loose fit on assembly or pressed into place.  Also, the act of assembly may compress the rubber against mating surfaces to eliminate ‘play’ or to provide a pre-load.

Typical Applications

Isolation of surfaces – typically an internal bolt from an adjacent flat or cylindrical surface.

Materials

Rubber:          Natural rubber (polyisoprene) of different grades.   Alternative elastomers available on request.
