The Mopla 5 range comprises 5 steel springs mounted within elastomer top and bottom spring retainers/covers. The range covers static loads from 12 to 920Kg per mount and, with numerous spring rates available, it is easy to select mounts to suit non-uniform load distribution whilst maintaining uniform deflection.
These mounts have a relatively high deflection under load and low natural frequency.
Available for fixing to isolated equipment directly (ABP) or indirectly using the Mopla-5 PAD supplied with M10 bolt. The ABP version includes height adjustment. Typically these mounts are also fixed to a base directly or via the Mopla-5 base (Base U5)In some applications it is not necessary to fix the mount if the base is used.
Air conditioning units, compressors, refrigeration units, transformers, generators.
Rubber: Vibrostop Elastomer with metal insert.
Spring: C72 spring steel with powder coated epoxy coating.
With a wide selection of spring rates available it is very easy with the Mopla-5 range to achieve uniform static deflection where different mounting positions experience different loading.
It is important to calculate static deflections for each mounting point for each mount required and to check that the deflections are similar (within a few mm ideally)
