FlexStrap

Our new highly flexible AV Suspension Strap is designed for use in vibratory feeding systems where a high degree of lateral movement must be accommodated in a suspended system.

This new product provides flexible suspension support for vibrating silos, vibratory feed hoppers, discharge chutes and silos used for dispensing and handling granular materials, foodstuff and the like. 

Shock loads caused when re-loading or replenishing such equipment are also accommodated.

Used in multiples, they allow significant lateral and torsional movement relative to the bolt eyes whilst providing secure support via the integral wire cable. 

The mount comprises a multi-strand wire cable (safe working load 10KN) and stainless steel central spring.  All items are encased in a flexible rubber casing

The 38mm long fixing eyes are designed to suit an M16 bolt and are at 266mm centres.

By virtue of the design, the vertical movement is limited to only 6mm at the design load.

Due to the lateral flexibility, it may be necessary to supplement the installation with bump stops to limit movement withing more confined spaces.
